Expect more condos in the near future. National builder, Beazer Homes, announced they are planning on building two condo complexes, they include:
Station West will be located on approx. 7.5 acres on the corner of Albermarle and Folly Road (former site of a concrete products company). There will be 181 units that will consist of lofts, condos and townhouses. Properties will be priced from $399,000 to $560,000 & will range in size from 1,000 to 1,800 sqft. In addition, they plan on building 18,000 sqft of retail space. Beazer expects to break ground in April of this year (2007).
In addition, Beazer plans on building a condo complex near I-526 and Clements Ferry Road (near Mount Pleasant). The project called Governors Cay will feature 192 units ranging in size from 952 to 2,900 sqft. There will be a total of four buildings. The price of the units is uncertain at this time but they expect to break ground in June or July (2007).
