According to an article by the Associated Press, “The Center for Birds of Prey on the South Carolina coast is now open to the public.”
The center was built nearly 17 years ago but because of the small size of the facility it was not open to the public. Now the center has grown to over 152 acres and can now accept visitors.
There are aviaries where visitors can see the birds and flight demonstrations. It is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
