Charleston, South Carolina has been selected as the backdrop for the pilot of a new television series that is about a big city attorney who decides to return back to the “Lowcountry†to work at her family’s law practice. The television show is being produced by Warner Brothers and filming is expected to start in March. If the series is televised, (it is only a pilot) it will air on ABC. The tentative title of the show is “Family Juleps.â€
On a side note, the Lifetime Television series called “Army Wives†is also currently being filmed in Charleston. It is expected to be a five-month shoot.
