Two airlines are expanding nonstop service at Charleston International Airport to three destinations in June.
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines is now offering daily service to Denver through early August, after offering weekend-only routes since early April.
On June 7, Southwest will boost its frequency to Baltimore-Washington International from three to four flights per day.
That same day, United Airlines will add a third daily rotation to Houston, offering more connectivity between the oil-rich Texas coast and the historic Holy City.
The jump in routes follows the recent expansion of several other carriers serving the Lowcountry.
